That's what I've tried to create with Once There Was a Way: What if The Beatles Stayed Together? Let's face it. We all love The Beatles in our own unique way, everybody's difference. This is how I've loved them in creative content I've created on two significant projects outside of the Once There Was a Way universe.
Surrounded by Enemies: What if Kennedy Survived Dallas? was the first book in the Breakpoint book series. In this image (to the right) inspired by the alternate history, President Kennedy stages a surprise visit with The Beatles during their appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Graphic by Lynda Karr.
Dark Skies was a 20-episode series I did for NBC that dealt with an alien invasion taking place in the 1960s. In an early episode of this alternative history, John Lennon has a chance encounter with a rogue Majestic-12 agent during practice for the Sullivan show. That's actor Joe Stefanelli playing Lennon with series lead Eric Close.
This is a fictional work of alternate history. Although its form is that of a journalistic account, it is not one. Names, characters, places and incidents either are the products of the author's imagination or are drawn from the historical record, then altered and used fictitiously. The characters of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Richard Starkey and others have been projected into an alternative reality and, therefore, have no factual basis. The dialogue and action in the novel reflects the fictitious characters only and not real individuals on whom those characters may be based. Any resemblance to other persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. || Legal disclaimer and website disclaimer.
